YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Over the past seven years, MSA has built the world's premier school-based cycling program. Our riders have succeeded at the highest level of junior racing and gone on to race in the professional ranks and on collegiate teams. The vast network of campus trails, which serves both MSA student-athletes and the Virginia cycling community, continues to grow at a remarkable speed. This success is possible because of the generous donations of our supporters who provide the funding and equipment necessary to build the "empire of cycling goodness" on the Hill.
Please consider assisting in continued success. You can make a donation directly to the team below. When making the donation, you may specify where your donation is allocated. Additionally, you are invited to our Annual Dinner & Auction.
2017 DINNER & AUCTION
The Miller School of Albemarle Endurance Team Dinner and Auction is your chance to support the continued growth of MSA's efforts to grow cycling opportunities in Virginia and the team, which is regarded as the nation's premiere school-based junior development cycling program. This event is meant to bring together the cycling community to celebrate the year and raise funds to continue growing "the empire of cycling goodness" we have all helped build in Virginia. Join us for an evening of good food, good drink, and good conversation while having the opportunity to bid on exciting merchandise. Silent and live auction items will include signed jerseys from world-renowned cyclists, as well as options ranging from mountain home vacations to guided cycling tours.
Beginning at 6:00, the silent auction will open. Appetizers will be available and there will be two bars with local beers and wine on offer, along with other assorted beverages. A buffet dinner will open at 7:30, and there will be short talks from the program's founder, Peter Hufnagel, and director, Andy Guptill, as well as several professional area cyclists. Several current supporters of the program will also be recognized and honored. There will be live auctions throughout the evening, and all silent auctions will close at 9:30 PM
DRESS: Snappy Casual
All funds raised will go to support the further development of the network of trails on Miller School of Albemarle 1,600-acre campus. The trails serve as a venue for cycling and running events throughout the year. Additionally, the trails provide a practice "field" for the growing number of interscholastic mountain bike teams in the C'ville area. Additionally, funds will assist the team to perform needed equipment upgrades and maintenance, as well as improve the current service course.
The School is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, and all donations, ticket/table purchases, and auction items are tax-deductible.
Unable to attend the Dinner and Auction but are still interested in supporting the endurance program? Please donate today.
